• How long on average do people spend online each day?

On average people spend 144 minutes of their time online every day but in my personal opinion, I think it's a bit more because many people I know play or spend more than 2 hours online. My reasoning behind this is that a lot of people are always active on social media or video games.

• How much of their time is spent on Social Media websites?

The amount of time people spend on social media websites is around about 2 hours and 3 minutes according to the sources I've used, in my opinion, I think it could be a lot more but my opinion is Impacted for many reasons because most people I know are always on social media like Snapchat, Instagram TikTok but at the same time the 2 hours and 3 minutes could be taken from the whole online world, etc.

• Describe some of the positives of using Social Media websites (2 or 3)

Some of the many positives of using social media are that you can make new friends either mutual or just someone random, know when important things happen for example breaking news, drama, information or just maybe keeping up with your favorite celebrities, you can also have fun with friends.

• Describe some of the negatives of using Social Media websites (2 or 3).

Some of the negatives of using social media are that you could be stalked by people and have your safety and others put in jeopardy, you can have personal information leaked like your password, etc, or you can possibly be cyberbullied.

• Explain how you should behave when using Social Media websites, to ensure you and others are safe

What you should do to keep you and others safe is first of all to not put any personal information online, secondly don't add people you don't know if you have mutual friends then it is not as bad, third don't respond to messages from people you don't know, fourth don't press links from random people as they could be sending you an IP grabber and get your IP address which could your safety at risk.
