    • What does the term "secure Wi-Fi" mean?

    • When might you use Wi-Fi that is not secured?

    • Why is this an issue?

    • How can you make sure that your home network is safe and secure?

  • The term secure wifi means that you are connected to a network where all your data is safe and will require a password to prevent hacking and for private use of wifi. secure encryption methods to send wireless data between a mobile device and the Internet connection point
Times we could be using unsecured networks is at shopping centres, movie theatres ,fast food places, restaurants, gyms, bars, cafes and more.
This is a big issue as the wifi is not as strong, most of the time it doesn't need a password so all you need to do is put your personal information to sign in, and since it is a unsecured network people can hack and trace your personal details such as using your credit card, finding out your address.
We can make sure our wifi at home is safe through making a strong and secure password, create a limit of devices that can access the internet, creating firewalls and changing the default name of your modem and finally and keep your router softwares up to date.
