Tech A

During our tech lessons, we have been learning and gathering data about all sorts of different types of technology and sources. An example of some data we collected are the FitBit. We had to research different parts of a FitBit and how they work together. Another example was when we had to work in our groups to create a slideshow on all the different types of technology and what they can do. We also had to learn and collect data about all the types of technology in the world such as MacBooks and iPads. And by collecting this data, it helps us to understand and share our knowledge with others.


The purpose of us collecting the data is to then use the data to answer questions and share the information with others. By collecting data in groups, it allows us to work simultaneously and complete our task on time. And since we have an awesome teacher that doesn't give us much homework, we are able to relax and not stress about tech.



When we collect data, we have to be smart and find the correct info. When in groups it's much faster and goals are easier to achieve. This term so far has been very successful so far. We've worked in groups, finished tasked, collected correct information and finished any homework due. And, when working in groups we can give each other feedback and help each other on the way.
Plus with successful data, there is successful tasks which means merits, and you can't have too many merits!



I think the hardest challenge to collecting data is finding a reliable source that can provide the correct information and data. And when you have a good source and information, you have to use and display the data too.
Firstly, the data should relate to the task at hand which means that it will come in handy.
Secondly, we should know and understand the data so we know what we're doing.
And thirdly, our data should make sense.
When our data is all of these things, I can use them successfully.
