What is a computer?

A computer is a programmable device that can store, retrieve, and process data.
It is used to type emails and documents, browse the internet and play games. It is also used to create spreadsheets, videos and presentations.


What are the parts of a computer system?

The four main parts of a computer are input device (keyboard etc),output device(monitor, speakers etc), secondary storage devices(hard disk drive, DVD drive etc) and the processor and primary storage devices(cpu, etc).


How does a computer work?

A computer takes in raw information (or data) at one end, stores it until it's ready to work on it.  It receives and processes data according to the instructions given to it, and after the data has been processed, the results of the processing are usually sent to an output device that shows up on the screen.


What are some examples of computers?

some examples of computers are phones, laptops, tablets or i pads, gaming consoles, and other electronic devices.
