Holes

This story is about people who have committed a crime then gone to Camp Greenlake to fulfil their sentence. Stanley Yelnats, our main protagonist has been sent to Camp Greenlake for a crime he didn't commit and he meets new people whose names are Zero, X-Ray, Magnet, Armpit and Zigzag. He faces various challenges like the Warden, Mr Sir, Mr Pendanski and digging holes. We also revisit Stanley's ancestry and past crimes his no-good pig-stealing great grandfather done. Stanley acquires the nickname 'Caveman'. Stanley gets a letter from his parents, and Zero asks him to teach him on how to read. He is then is accused by Mr Sir that he stole his sunflower seeds. Stanley then meets the Warden for the first time.
