The melting pot

I am up to the point in the book melting pot were Edward the not very popular kid is all the sudden a star because the sporty students asked him to play cricket on the the team. Poor Edward has only watched cricket never played, it was his first chance at throwing the ball, it landed at his feet and he suddenly out of  no were threw the ball and hit the stumps, the poor boy was out.

Edward got home from school and told his dad all about his day and how he is on the cricket team , and his dad was a really proud father at that point.  i read bits that interested me because at one point Edward wanted to learn more about this sport because he new he could become better at cricket so he took the advantage of learning more , a lot more. it was good how Edward would always follow the instructions so he cant let the team down in a real game of cricket , which his good because  remember practice makes perfect .
