Samurai Kids: The White Crane

In Samurai Kids the main character's name is Niya who only has one leg. He is a samurai who is in the Cockroach Ryu with others who are unwanted and are seen to have a disability. Little do they know that what others think are disabilities are more like advantages for these kids. Niya has the White Crane as his spirit totem. In the Cockroach Ryu, Niya and his friends have daily lessons, in fighting and in things like origami, archery and calligraphy. I am really liking the story so far and have been making a lot of inferencing and connections, mostly text to text.
