                                Chinese  Cinderella

 In Chinese Cinderella is about a  Chinese girl called CC (short for Chinese Cinderella), who lives in  Shanghai. With her father and her stepmother who had thrown her away into the dangerous streets of Shanghai. Lucky she had met a woman called grandma Wu who took CC into her Martial Arts Academy called the dragon society. Now CC has met a boy named David who lives in the Martial Arts Academy, who I think CC is going to build another friendship with because in this book friendship is a massive theme in this text.  As well as this CC is going through a ceremony to be welcomed into the Martial Arts Academy, with the other boys and getting used to the new lifestyle in the academy to learn Kung Fu.

Some themes I have noticed as the text progress are loyalty and  friendship . I think these themes are in the story because the Martial Arts Academy welcomed CC in their group, and CC developed connections  with the boys and especially David and loyalty because Grandma Wu was always for CC when she was kicked out of the house.

I predict that CC will find more friend and develop more friendships and some maybe more people may join the academy. I predict this because friendship is a massive theme in the story line that's  why I'm thinking friendship may have developed and might be more characters coming into the story.
