Chinese Cinderella

                                 Chinese Cinderella

     Chinese Cinderella is about a  Chinese girl called CC (short for Chinese Cinderella), who lives in      Shanghai. With her father and her stepmother who had thrown her away into the dangerous streets of Shanghai. Lucky she had met a woman called grandma Wu who took CC into her Martial Arts Academy.

What I like about Chinese Cinderella is the descriptive language, for example when her stepmother slapped her across her face  ' I felt something  warm and wet tricking  down my chin. Gasping for air, I wiped my streaming nose with the back for my hand'. For far in the text CC is developing  strong  friendships which is a theme hidden in the story, for example Grandma Wu who had took CC into her Martial Arts Academy.
