Plagues and Federation - Week 6

 

About 
So  reading plagues and federation it is about Kitty and her family during the time were federation had started and when diseased rats are spreading  through Sydney.  While her Bertie (Kitty's older brother)  is fighting in the Boer War in Africa while recording in her diary.

So far
Kitty's siblings Ethel and Artie had just got their vacancies  so they can't get plagues.  Many people had been drinking unhygienic water with  typhoid in it because horses bath in it.  The plagues had now reached Botany were a      Also  Ma ( what kitty calls her mother) wrote her own letter to Mabel. I think kitty is reach closer to her goal is of her dream job, i really like how Kitty is  determined to reach her goal.

 As the characters developed I have noticed that a theme had is occurring are heal, strength,   relationships because other time with her mother had grown stronger and stronger  but with Reggie it is bumpy I like this  so it is entertaining for the audience who is reading the book.    Another theme i noticed was  family because Kitty s documenting  about what it was like in her perspective while federation was happening with her family. This shows how women can to this as equally as men.
