Who Am I?


Prediction

 I predict the book 'Who Am I' will be about a girl named Mary, who'll try to discover why she was taken away from her family. I also predict that  Mary will be the main character of the story because of being introduced on the books blurb. This story can be emotional for Mary was taken from both her home and family. My guess is not only this book will not only be emotional but also filled with mystery and discovery. I think this because Mary might find out hidden secrets and why she was taken. The reason I think this way is through the books blurb, telling me she was taken from her family and sent to a new home. 

Prediction after reading 20 pages

I predict that Mary will continue helping in her new home, being the big sister and nursing the babies. I also predict that your religion that were passed to you from your parent cause you to be sent to a different home in Mary's time. I suspected this when reading page eight 'We went to church today cos you have to be VERY Christian here'. When Mary wrote this sentence the last word was here, making me guess Mary wasn't used to the religion in that area (Christianity).

    I like how you have justified your response by using information from the book. Your predictions are thorough and draw on your connections with the blurb and front cover. You have also inferred some very important information about Mary's character.
