Ryan Day- Novel Response- Lennie The Legend

I like how this book is historical and gives you a deeper understanding of how it was back in Lennie's time through the lens of a true person who had witnessed the event.  I dislike how the parents let Lennie travel all the way to Sydney with no supervision.  I like how Lennie doesn't give up even though he is a long way from home.  I feel as if Lennie does not understand that he could easily be kidnapped or poisoned by the food he is receiving from strangers.
