Plagues and Federation- Wk1

Prediction

I predict the book Plagues and Federation is about how people in the 1900's were diagnosed with plagues which was was a disease you get from infected rats. Plagues mainly came to people who lived on the streets and the diseased rats would come to them so I think the family may have lived on the streets. I also predict it was about federation when the colonies became states and joined to become Australia which was in 1901. 

The reason I think this is because in 1901 federation occurred in Australia and the states joined to become Australia and at the same time around plagues occurred in Sydney and everyone was getting sick from an infection thats rats called Plagues. My evidence that my reason is from the title 'Plagues and Federation'.
