plagues and federation Week 5

 

About 
So  reading plagues and federation it is about Kitty and her family during the time were federation had started and when diseased rats are spreading  through Sydney.  While her Bertie (Kitty's older brother)  is fighting in the Boer War in Africa while recording in her diary.

Summary so far
Kitty's siblings Ethel and Artie had just got their vacancies  so they can't get plagues and had been to the quarantine and her relationship with her family had grown stronger and stronger.  Also  Kitty  Mr Higgins ( neighbor) had gotten the plagues. Due to this fences around the abandoned homes  because so that they wouldn't get plagues.  Although this  is happening  Kitty's mother  thinks that the Queen, Edmund Barton and Alfred Deakin  might be discuss were the the Capital of Australia is.  At one point Kitty taught that she had plagues but then her mother told her that her body was changing.

Review so far
I really like how her mother in encouraging her daughter.  I found it hilarious but felt worried because i thought that Kitty actually had plagues but when her mother explained it which made  it  hilarious to me.

Prediction 
I predict had Kitty later on  the Capital city will be announced  I think this  because  in the book it said that the Queen, Edmund  Barton and Alfred Deakin were having lunch to might discuss were the Capital and for approval.
