Lennie the Legend is about an eleven year old boy who dreams about travelling to Sydney to witness the opening of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. But, he doesn't want to travel by train, he wants to travel on his horse Ginger Mick. Along the way Lennie meets many news, and media reporters, and experiences a lot of things, one being a terrible hot, flaming, disastrous bush fire. Lennie starts to miss The Captain and his brothers, sisters and mum.
