Common Ground
In my group we discussed about questions and vocabulary we didn't understand. I had some questions about the book and why, things happened, we made predictions on the book and title, from what i heard everyone had interesting opinions and ideas. This is an interesting book because it tells you about what the indigenous people went through or had to do just to save they're land in order to keep it. I wonder why they speak like commin' or washin' or cleanin'. We also spoke about why we thought they were fighting for there land.
I like how you included some of your wonderings. Including what we discussed rather than just saying we discussed will allow the audience of our blog to gain a deeper understanding of the text and also your understanding of it. My challenge for you is to use quotes and elaborate your responses by adding more details to your response.
