Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children- Week 1 & 2
This term we are reading Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children. So far it has been an interesting book. This book is about a boy called Jacob who looks up to his grandfather, Abraham Portman. His grandfather tells him stories about when he was young and when he fought in the war. One day his grandfather calls him when Jacob is at work. He sounds frantic and asks for 'the key'. Jacob doesn't tell him and asks if he has taken his pills. His grandfather hangs up, so Jacob decides to go to his house. When he gets there he finds the rooms ransacked as if someone was looking for something. He then goes out to the backyard and finds his grandfather dead.
