Plagues and Federation - Week 6

Plagues and Federation Prediction

So far in Plagues and Federation the author has sucessfully created suspense throughout the entire story so far.  I am engaged in the book and after discussing about the book with my peers, we have discovered hidden themes within the book like, family, the roller coaster relationship between Kitty and Redgie, and

sex discrimination of girls and women.  These are the hidden themes within the book.  The themes mentioned within the book are, federation, the search for a capital city for New South Wales, the bubonic plague and war.

Talking about the front cover of the book, I like how the author has set out the front cover, using three different fonts for the title, the series name, and their name.  I like how the author has placed the image of Sydney back in the 1900's on the cover to give the readers a taste of what the book will be about.  

These are some of the things that I have enjoyed seeing/reading in this text.
