Who am I?

Mary has moved from Cootamundra Girls Home to a public school where everyone is mean to her and call her names, she is always left out because if her colour. She met an Italian friend called Tony and sometimes sits with her.
She has a new family called the Burkes where Mary has one sister and one brother. Mary calls her 'parents' Pa B and Ma B. Sophie her sister loves it when Mary curls her hair.

One part that I dislike about the story is how the kids at her school are mean because I would hate that if she was me.
