Common Ground

Summary:
This term we have been reading a book called Common Ground.  This book is about an aboriginal family who must deal with big changes like moving homes.
In the beginning of the story, it started with Nan, Pop, Aunty Evonne, J, Zeke, Maree  and their two dogs Shoog and  Lou Lou but now, Aunty Evonne's  two sisters have arrived and they had terrible news.  The white people were coming so they had to evacuate.
Luckily, Aunty's sisters knew where to go so they drove to a small town were they stayed in little cabins.

What I Think Of The Book:
I think Common Ground is a great book because it shows how tough life was for aboriginals back then and how privileged we are to be safe.  It teaches us that things were much more different back then and things were not always fair to everyone.

Prediction:
I predict that the whites might come to their peaceful town and take everything they have and claim the land.  But, Maree will try to stop them by gathering all indigenous people and starting a revolution for everyone to be treated equally.
