Common Ground

Prediction:

I predict common ground will be about a aboriginal tribe who try to protest their tribes rights on their land. Also they might have to get other tribes to help them,because the government isn't giving them their rights to their land. They also aren't getting the resources they need for shelter and education to help young children and young families in need of help also the flag is hand painted and it was on the cover so i know that is a tradition so i new it was aboriginal.

The reason i think this is because the image on the cover says (public meeting to discuss claim on traditional ownership) also i think its about aboriginal people because the flag is on the book cover and it says it on the blurb. And  the aboriginal people are the founders of this land so they should get their rights.

Vocabulary:

In common ground the kind of language i expect to see is aboriginal words,phrases,festival names and tribe names. I expect this because it's an aboriginal book so i would expect the language they speak.
